I always liked that ideology, too. Not from an artist perspective, I'm not an artist, but I've had times where my initial plans weren't turning out how I anticipated and had I closed off alternatives to consider, I probably wouldn't be alive right now.

Yet another benefit to open-mindedness. Keeps you alive, which I'm very partial to, as well as being a much better philosophy than its opposite in a general sense.

Indeed. Not being open to new angles is just asking for stagnation. It's why the old guard never lasts forever on the streets. They get stuck in their ways, and those coming up are too restless for that.

Yeah, those are like... The theme songs you gotta only imagine in the moment. You can play them out loud when you do reenactments later, though.

I don't figure it'd be so bad for them if their old ways helped literally anyone other than themselves.

I wouldn't think people actually did reenactments of moments like that if I didn't know Jesper and Nina.

In the long run it doesn't even help themselves as much as other ways would, but not many see beyond immediate greed and the easy way out to make those calls.

True enough. Half of them would shoot themselves in the foot for the payout. Literally, in a lot of cases.

I'd inquire if there is something you'd shoot yourself in the foot for, but you have accelerated healing.

I'm ashamed to say it's something they're proud of doing.

I'm sure it being instantaneous would be ideal, if not a reality. Still, I'd take any acceleration over none.

I'd rather not land anywhere at any time. Falling is never fun, even if one can avoid the turning crispy part of it.

From what I've heard from artist friends, anti-art is still art. They gave reasons about like, the lens of irony? Or something? It was really involved.

Pillows at any time are an improvement to all arrangements. More pillows.

I have ways of getting places shut down, I could add a gallery to my list. Though you're right, that might be more effort than is worth the while.

Well, I am a criminal. I'd just rather spend my money on other things than a pillow when one still works well enough.

That would be the best way to take a nap. I've slept in front of people plenty of times in the past, but it would be nice to have the assurance they didn't even notice.

You don't have to get me anything, Birdie. It sounds like you'd enjoy the pillows more than I would. I really am fine. I hardly even use my bed, anyway.

Your attempts to reassure me are doing the opposite, for the record. I know you sleep at your desk, but sometimes you gotta have a good lie down with actual comfort in between all your planning and mayhem.

I spent years living on the streets, just being indoors is a comfort to me. Which I assume is also not comforting, so I’ll ask instead, what do you even do with a preponderance of pillows? Some sofas look like there’s not even enough room to sit because of them.
