The higher ups at his hospital are part of a bribery scene. They allow poorer children who need organ donations to die in favor of those who can bribe them.

I have offered to take care of them. He told me it would cause too many problems.

I do not think he enjoys it. I did not see any pleasure in what he does when I drank his blood.
