I was shocked at the depravity of mortals in this era.

The invention of modern weaponry. The methods with which they kill quicker and faster.

It makes my crimes seem small in comparison. Not that I am looking for absolution.

But when I found out a single mortal was responsible for the deaths of nearly six million people, I wondered if we were truly the most evil things on this planet.

If any of us is evil, it's from being human first.

And it was never just one man. There were hundreds of others happy to pull the triggers that caused all that death. The ones that said they were doing their killing to stop him pulled their own, dropped their bombs. Then they go around again and force the guns into kids' hands to keep it all spinning and make their blood money.

Not much of it was good.
