they say that death is a tragedy it comes once, and it's over

Very possible. They're one of the few who can truly see a situation from all angles.

Not that I'd recommend going to that length for it, but being turned by your kind sounds like one way to cure stage fright.

They're too wily to let us know for sure and give away all their secrets.

I've never heard the term opera kids before, but somehow, I'm not surprised they exist. A cousin of theatre kids.

True, you've already got a solid connection to the avian category.

Lots of gesticulating too then, I'd imagine.

Razzle dazzle with the gestures and nobody will notice what you're actually saying and planning to use your hands for. Distraction and misdirection are two of the key elements in many sleights of hand.

[OOC/ETA: Kaz would watch Sweeney Todd and just be like, he should have planned the revenge better.]

Can you imagine? I'd take out any dramatic irony that didn't serve the plot's overall long con. What con? Each opera would now have a con.

[OOC: It really is, I'm sure Birdie is keeping pretend notes of his improvements when they see Titus Andronicus or any version of the Count of Monte Cristo, too.]

That is, actually, how I have seen a theatre show before in a playhouse. It wasn't an opera, though. Didn't get to watch much of it, just overheard parts.

[OOC: LOL, that is fair and I can see it. Sometimes you just want to watch what happens. Unrelated, but I started a new data fellowship this week, hence the slowness. But, I get to nerd out with numbers so that's always fun. Hope your start to the week is okay with all the conventions!]

I cannot say I won't be scanning the audience for potential marks on the way out. I know more than one mercher has season passes to the opera.

[OOC: Never pass up a good or free deal! And TY. <3]

Those boxes are more for being seen than watching the show anyway, aren't they? If you have to use binoculars to view the stage, I'd think there would be other reasons for wanting those seats. Namely, to say you have them.

That's fair, I hadn't considered the acoustics being better in the boxes. Just that you always see pictures of people with binoculars in them.
